Leeres Theater
Ensemble members stand alone on the stage of the Volkstheater. The grandstands are deserted, the corridors in the Volkstheater are deserted. A mash-up emerges from two texts: Hasti Molavian sings “Ich bin der Welt loser”, a poem by Friedrich Rückert in Gustav Mahler's setting from 1901; Uwe Schmieder speaks the text "Empty Theater" by Heiner Müller from 1994. Has the world's theater been lost? Are we lost in the world? Where and how do we look further?
